No. Mini Homes, or Single section modular homes, are built beyond local building codes and standards. They have no wheels, chassis or hitches and bear no resemblance to mobile homes. Their max width is 16’ and max length is 75’ (1200SF) to comply with Department of Transportation regulations.
Mini split heat pumps reduce your energy consumption by upto 35% and provide air conditioning, purification and dehumidification. A central unit will be installed in the main living area with a condenser outside. As with any heat pump system, it utilizes a supplementary and back up heat source, in this case electric baseboard heaters.
Modular homes can be installed on any foundation type except a concrete slab. The concrete pier foundation is the lowest cost option, if a basement is not required.

Yes. The rule of thumb is the more of your home that is built in the factory, the better the price. This is why single section homes are so cost effective. Simple exterior design facilitates having more work completed in the factory, thereby saving on overall costs. Even the most complicated of homes are at least on par with “stick or site built” homes.
Typically 8 to 14 weeks from the time an order is completed, depending on the time of year ordered.
Single section homes are fully finished in the factory and delivered on a single flatbed. Multi section homes require some assembly and finish once delivered which involves a small amount from each trade. Multi section homes are typically delivered at ~80% completion and take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to complete once delivered.
Our 2021 specifications include R22 insulation in the walls, R50 in the roof and R31 in the floor (if no basement) - and also include heat pumps and continuous air barriers. The result is performance well exceeding that of local site builders.
New homes come with an Atlantic Home Warranty of 7 or 10 years. There is also a 1 year comprehensive builders warranty.
